Nikon - Filter kit - neutral density / UV / polarizer - 46 mm

This set of four 46mm filters includes UV filter, Circular Polarizing filter, Neutral Density 4 and Neutral Density 8 filters. The UV transparent filter absorbs ultra-violet rays without increase of exposure, thereby preventing haziness and foggy effects in distant landscapes. Constant use of this filter is recommended as a lens protector. Circular Polarizing filter removes or reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces, darkens blue sky while increasing color saturation, penetrates haze. Simply rotate the filter in its mount until the optimum effect is obtained. Neutral Density filter is used for reducing amount of light without changing color rendition

Features

• Circular Polarizer: A polarizer is the only filter that can deepen a blue sky without adversely affecting overall color balance and effectively reduces glare from most reflective surfaces, rendering richer color from that surface.
• UV (Ultraviolet): UV filters cuts haze, thereby correcting the blues and violets in color images and cuts haze for sharper black and white images.
• Neutral Density ND4 and ND8: ND filters let you use larger apertures creatively without changing shutter speed, or use slower shutter speeds when necessary in bright conditions.
