The Sunpak 423PX2 fills the need for a high quality carbon fiber tripod that captures the design of a compact pistol grip ball head making it super fast for capturing any type of action. Unlike a conventional ball head or pan head, the pistol grip ball head simple squeeze and release instant locking trigger action provides high level of speed in camera setup. The pistol grip ball head is made of lightweight aluminum and magnesium for light weight and long life. With a quick release platform, camera setup could not be easier or faster. The platform allows 360 degrees of rotation perfect for video, panning or small adjustments. The pistol grip ball head also rotates 360 degrees and incorporates a cut out skirt to limit movement. With a built-in bubble level, rubber gripping surface and quick acting trigger action, capturing action could not be faster. The Sunpak 423PX2 carbon fiber tripod is ultra-light and rigid with seven layer carbon fiber construction leg tubes that make it the light, portable and affordable carbon fiber tripod. The magnesium chassis incorporates three position leg angle adjusters for providing mid and low-angle grounder adjustment, chassis spirit level and center column tensioning adjustment. In addition, the 423PX2 offers neoprene leg wraps, great for hot and cold weather handling. The flip lever leg locks are quick and easy to use with and without gloves and are tension adjustable with the included wrench. Other combined features of the 423PX2 are a second short, anti-rotation carbon fiber center column for low angle photography, reversible 1/4" and 3/8" mounting screw, removable auto retract center column accessory hook and over-size rubber feet with retractable leg spikes.
